Section 26 Disposition versions

26. No work may be done by a worker:

(1)  who is less than 16 years of age:

(a)  in an open-pit mine;

(b)  in a concentrator;

(c)  in a plant;

(2)  who is less than 18 years of age:

(a)  in an underground mine;

(b)  to perform work on the working face in an open-pit mine;

(c)  to use equipment that hoists or moves objects;

(3)  who is less than 20 years of age:

(a)  to act as a blaster, unless acting as an assistant;

(b)  to act as a hoistman.
